Privacy Policy for Murmur Studio

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Murmur Studio is a macOS application for analyst review of physiological waveform recordings (WFDB-format files) stored on your own computer. This policy explains what data the app does — and does not — handle.

Data we collect

None. Murmur Studio does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, or telemetry. The app does not connect to any server we operate.

Data you load into the app

Murmur Studio reads recording files that you explicitly select from your own computer using macOS’s standard file picker. All processing — including waveform rendering, annotation review, and any findings you generate — happens locally on your device. These files and any data derived from them never leave your computer through the app.

Data stored on your device

Annotations and dispositions you create within the app are saved to local files alongside the recordings or in standard application support locations on your Mac. You control these files and can delete them at any time.

Third parties

Murmur Studio does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children’s privacy

Murmur Studio is a research and clinical-review tool not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy
